Ring my big bell

Dignitaries from Tainan City and National Cheng Kung University pull together to ring what is touted as the largest bronze bell in Taiwan. Standing 2.83 meters tall and weighing around 3,000 kilograms, the bell was manufactured by the renowned Paccard Bell Foundry and donated to NCKU to celebrate its 77th anniversary. The bell is expected to become a landmark attraction in Tainan. (CNA)
