12. Gonzalo J. Facio, minister of foreign affairs of Costa Rica, arrives for a six-day visit.

The Kuomintang, ruling party of the ROC, issues a statement urging the Chinese people of the mainland to join in the anti-Communist struggle.

Klaus Senegelmann, minister of agriculture and livestock of Nicaragua, arrives for a six-day visit.
