A monument honoring 52 members of the ROC (Taiwan) Air Force who died during training in the U.S. between 1942 and 1947 was unveiled in early September at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas. The event was presided by Chen Chin-Kung, deputy minister of the Veterans Affairs Council, and attended by officials from both sides, including American Institute in Taiwan Managing Director Ingrid D.
