A descendant of an aboriginal chieftain of the Rukai tribe in Pingtung County explains the background to some artifacts to visitors at the former residence of the chieftain in Ali village in the southern county June 18. The visitors were on a two-day eco- and culture tourism tour recently designed by an assistant professor at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology to promote some of the distinctive aspects of Rukai culture.
