Screened through a joint initiative by the MOEA’s Small and Medium Enterprise Administration and the American Institute in Taiwan, the firms will showcase their products and services during the program, receive advice on financing and take part in networking events.
Among the startups, eight firms are among the top 10 listed in four of seven industry categories. They are ITM Corp. and Turing Chain Ltd. in cybersecurity; Astron MedTech Co. These firms will have the opportunity to make a pitch in front of an audience of SelectUSA Investment Summit attendees and a panel of judges comprising corporate investors, industry experts, representatives from startup ecosystems and venture capitalists.
The MOEA said in addition to attending SelectUSA events, the firms will tour Silicon Valley and meet with key players in the U.S. startup ecosystem and international investors.
