ROC Minister of Foreign Affairs David Y. L. Lin reaffirms the strength of bilateral ties between the ROC and its 22 diplomatic allies March 17 in Belize. Lin’s remarks follow the news that former ally The Gambia established official diplomatic relations with mainland China earlier the same day. The MOFA also issued a statement regretting the African nation’s decision. (CNA)
