18. Nine delegates of the 12-member Chinese delegation leave for to attend the annual meeting of the United Nations Economic Commission for Asia and the . Walter H. Fei, vice chairman of the Council for International Economic Cooperation and Development, headed the Chinese delegation. He reported on the social and economic progress of the ROC.
